2. Information processed

Email enquiries

If you contact SpanskNett by email, your email address and the information included in your message are processed to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, support your purchase. SpanskNett.com provides email contact rather than a contact form.

Purchases

Lemon Squeezy processes checkout and payment information as Merchant of Record under its own privacy notice.

SpanskNett processes the order information made available to it where necessary to supply the educational materials, assist with access or product problems and meet applicable legal obligations.

Website operation

Hostinger provides the website-building and hosting service. Technical information may be processed as necessary to deliver website content, maintain availability and protect the service.

Newsletter

Newsletter registration takes place on aprende.spansknett.com. Following the newsletter link on SpanskNett.com does not itself subscribe you. The Privacy Policy on Aprende explains the subscription process and the use of Beehiiv.

Videos and external resources

YouTube videos are provided through an embedded player. Loading or interacting with third-party content may disclose technical information to its provider, such as your IP address, browser or device information and interactions with the content.

Flipbooks and other resources accessed through external links are subject to the relevant service’s privacy information.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Answer enquiries and provide requested support: pre-contractual measures, contract performance or legitimate interests, depending on the request.

• Supply purchased materials and support their use: contract performance.

• Meet applicable accounting, consumer and other legal duties: legal obligations.

• Operate and protect the website: legitimate interests in maintaining a functioning and secure service.

• Any non-essential storage or tracking associated with third-party content: consent where required by applicable law.

A purchase does not itself authorise newsletter marketing.

4. Service providers and transfers

Hostinger provides the website-building and hosting service. Its processing of customer data is addressed in its Data Processing Addendum.

Lemon Squeezy handles purchases under its own checkout notices and Privacy Policy.

YouTube is a Google service. Its handling of information associated with the video player is explained in the Google Privacy Policy.

These services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Hostinger’s Data Processing Addendum provides for European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. Lemon Squeezy describes its international-transfer safeguards in its privacy policy. Google explains its international-transfer mechanisms in its privacy policy.

You may contact hola@spansknett.com for information about providers processing data on behalf of SpanskNett and the applicable transfer safeguards.

5. Retention

Email enquiries are retained for the time needed to answer them and, where necessary, for applicable legal-claims periods.

Transaction records held by SpanskNett are retained for the periods required by applicable tax, accounting and consumer law.

Technical information processed for website operation and security is retained for the time necessary for those purposes, subject to applicable legal obligations and the hosting service’s data-processing terms.

Information independently processed by Lemon Squeezy or Google is retained under the respective provider’s policies. Newsletter retention is explained in the Privacy Policy on Aprende SpanskNett.

6. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, where applicable, by writing to hola@spansknett.com.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

Requests concerning processing independently carried out by Lemon Squeezy or Google may also be addressed directly to the relevant provider through its privacy channels.

Newsletter subscribers may unsubscribe using the link included in each newsletter email.

7. Children

The independent-learning materials are designed primarily for learners aged 14 and over. Younger learners should use the resources with a parent, guardian or educator.

The intended age of a learning resource does not establish legal capacity to make a purchase. Purchases by minors must comply with applicable law and any authorisation required from a parent or guardian.
